30 min Editing, Author, or Book Coaching

Service Description

30-minute consultation by phone or video call to discuss your project. Sessions are customized to cover the topics that are important for your project's success. We set goals, establish target dates, and create concrete activity building blocks to help you reach those goals. I'll give you tools, share professional resources, as well as editing and publishing information that will help you understand the work that needs to be done and how to do it efficiently and effectively. (These sessions do not include on-page editing.) The Editing Consultation specifically addresses any editorial notes about your manuscript, or to show you on the page how to address/fix issues. It’s all about the editing. The Author Consultation discusses your journey as an author, what are the next steps, what are the other things that you need to be doing with your manuscript or parallel to your manuscript development to start building your author platform, your query letter or book proposal, your agent or publishing house roster, and things like that. We can also open the session to discuss anything else you’d like to talk about that you feel you need help with. It's all about the writer to author journey.

Cancellation Policy

Sometimes life “happens.” Because both your time and my time are valuable, if you need to cancel, I ask that you give me at least a 12hs notice, and I promise to do the same.<br> *Please note that I don’t read unsolicited manuscripts unless we have a working contract.
