This is the most known form of editing, where I'll check grammar, usage, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style, plus internal consistency of facts. If applicable, also inserting head levels and approximate placement of art; editing tables, figures, index, and lists.

This editing takes place on the page, with Track Changes on so you can accept or reject suggestions. When needed, I will offer ideas and give you options (not fixes) to make your lines flow better in the form of comments you can implement, ignore, or resolve.
